Is Istikhara nafl or Sunnah
Isthikharah is Nafl prayer, Irum. Read this hadith : It is narrated from Hazrat Jaabir (raziyAllahu Ta’ala) that Rasulullah sallal lahu alayhi wasallam used to teach us the dua of istikharah for important matters in the same manner as he used to teach us the Surahs of the Qur aan.
What happens if you ignore Istikhara
There is no response of an istikharah except what you will do after it. If you did istikharah from your heart and with honesty and trust in your lord Allah subhanahu wa taa’ala then whatever you will go in is the response of your istikharah.
